[The Metropolist] REVIEW: Super Smash Bros Wii U
Added: 03.12.2014 7:11 | 3 views | 0 comments
Super Smash Bros is one of those videogame series where the stories tell themselves. The comebacks are real, the fluky one-hit wonders tarnish reputations and even the most solid of friendships can be made or broken on a single press of the B button. Muster a group of 8 people together who have no idea what theyre doing and theyll have just as much fun, if not more, than 2 seasoned vets going toe-to-toe in a tense deathmatch.
The joy of Smash is that it fits any occasion (An 8-man smash? Ambassador, youre spoiling us.) and welcomes all playstyles. It is bright, colourful, exciting and addictive. Its also full of frustrations, difficulty spikes and what can most accurately be described as stuff, but then this is Super Smash Bros - and [The Metropolist] wouldn't have it any other way.

| Review: Digimon: All Star Rumble - Gamerations
Added: 02.12.2014 9:11 | 13 views | 0 comments
Gamerations: It has been 6 years since North America has seen a new Digimon video game and an even longer 10 years since any Digimon fighting games. Well luckily Bandai Namco decided to put an end to your hopes of a new Digimon game by releasing Digimon: All Star Rumble for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. All Star Rumble is a fighting game which feels like it has tried to mix the feel of the Smash Bros games with their own unique Digimon feel. It certainly isnt the most original game, nor is it executed as well as it could have been but it is more than exciting to see the Digimon franchise returning to video games in this hemisphere.

| Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Review - GamesReviews
Added: 01.12.2014 21:11 | 11 views | 0 comments
From GamesReviews:
"Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker finally gives Toad his own Mario Kingdom platform to garner a larger fan base for himself; he does almost everything right in his first, Toad-centric adventure. While Captain Toad doesnt carry the hefty price tag of some of Nintendos other franchises, there is plenty of content here to justify a 39.99 USD price. If you are looking for something other than Smash Bros to play this holiday season, you may want to grab a copy of Captain Toad and kick back on the couch for this 10-12 hour adventure. Move your way through the level collecting all three gems, hidden golden mushrooms, and the final gold star."
